Non-surgical treatment
Non-surgical Hair Restoration, designed for your case
A personalized protocol that our medical team defines after understanding why you are losing hair. It includes the clinic’s exclusive compounded formulation and support at every step.

Who it may be for
- Men whose hairline or crown is starting to thin.
- People who notice more shedding than usual or loss of volume.
- Women with reduced density across the scalp.
- Patients who had a transplant and want to protect the hair they keep.
Only the consultation confirms whether restoration is right for you. If it is not, we tell you and explain your alternatives.
The six steps of treatment
Good hair restoration does not rely on a single product. It starts by understanding the cause, then addresses three fronts at the same time and, only if the hair can no longer be recovered, considers a transplant. The physician decides what to use at each step based on your case:
- Understand why: the first and most important step, and the one people value least. Medical consultation with SmartHair and, when needed, lab tests. Without knowing the cause, any treatment is a gamble.
- Slow the loss: address the cause that is weakening the hair, for example the effect of certain hormones on the follicle.
- Stimulate growth: help the hair you have grow stronger and stay longer in its growth phase.
- Nourish and regenerate: in-clinic sessions, such as mesotherapy and photobiostimulation, that aim to improve the follicle’s environment.
- Consider a transplant: if there is no way to recover the hair in an area, the physician assesses whether you are a candidate for the ARTAS Robotic Hair Transplant or a manual transplant. Even then, the previous steps are still needed to protect the hair you keep.
- Maintain the results: hair loss can be controlled, not cured. Maintenance treatment and regular follow-ups are what sustain the result, with or without a transplant. If treatment stops, hair loss tends to return.
What the protocol may include
Every plan is different. Based on your diagnosis, the physician may combine:
Exclusive compounded formulation
Prepared for your case on medical prescription, to use at home as part of the plan.
Scalp mesotherapy
Micro-injections into the scalp, applied at the clinic.
Photobiostimulation
Low-intensity light sessions on the scalp.
Medical follow-up
Visits at the clinic to see how your hair responds and adjust the plan.

How the process works
- Medical consultation with SmartHair, our exclusive AI system. If needed, lab tests or a genetic hair test; the results go to the physician, who interprets them and explains them to you.
- An explained plan: what will be done, how often and how progress will be measured.
- Sessions at the clinic and treatment at home as indicated.
- Follow-up visits to see how your hair evolves and responds to treatment, and to adjust the plan when needed. There is no one-size-fits-all formula.

Questions about restoration
How long until I see changes?
It depends on each person, the cause of the hair loss and the treatment prescribed. We do not publish fixed timelines because every case responds differently. During the consultation, the physician explains what to expect in your case and how we will measure progress at follow-up visits.
Does hair restoration work for women?
Yes. Hair loss in women has its own causes, such as hormonal changes, stress or nutritional deficiencies, which are studied during the consultation to define the plan.
Does the treatment hurt?
It depends on the procedure. Some techniques may cause mild discomfort, and local anesthesia is used for transplants. During the consultation, the physician explains what you will feel, the aftercare and the possible effects of each option.
How much does it cost?
The consultation costs US$100, VAT included. This amount is applied in full toward your medical treatment or procedure if you pay for it and schedule it on the same day or within the following seven calendar days. It can be the full payment or a first payment of more than US$100. It does not need to start within that period. The cost of treatment depends on the plan your case needs, so it is defined after the consultation. Restoration sessions can be purchased as a prepaid package, with a benefit for buying several sessions.
